For Dutch citizens, and citizens of the U.S.A. there is a simple procedure for deregistering. As long as all taxes have been paid and you do not have any outstanding fines, it is pretty simple to leave for good, by simply deregistering at the civil registry (Kranshi). You will then receive a notice from them which lists the municipality and country you are moving to.
For people with a different nationality, there is a more complex procedure that needs to be followed before you are allowed to leave, the so-called “stamp procedure”. You are required to obtain a total of six stamps from various authorities, and only once you have obtained all these stamps, can you deregister at the civil registry and receive your notice. Just like the Dutch and U.S. citizens, you also need to make sure all taxes have been paid and you have no outstanding fines.

I For All will files your taxes for you, as long as all necessary information is available, such as pay slips and annual statements. I For All will stay in touch with the tax authorities until all tax issues have been taken care of. This process often takes a long time. I For All will also verify that you do not have any outstanding fines, and if you do, we will help you take care of it.
